Behind every successful runway moment are the details that seem minute but makeup is an important component of fashion shows as it influences how we experience the designers’ collections. Designers usually tell their stories through not the clothing alone but enlist other components that make up the detailing of the entire concept. In this case, the ‘glam’.

A designer could incorporate a smokey eye and a full face beat to tell a certain story for one collection and the next designer may opt for coloured eyebrows and pale skin-like makeup in another collection. It all essentially boils down to context and concept. Trust us, consciously or subconsciously, these details make all the difference on the runway. In other words, the glam of every show is very dire.

ARISE Fashion Week has always partnered with a sponsored beauty brand that not only align with the goal and ethic of the show, which includes quality, prominence and luxury but also show a commitment to cooperation, innovation and utmost skill. In this case, globally renowned high-end brand and cosmetics giant, MAC Cosmetics, were the official beauty brand and make up sponsors of this year’s ARISEFashionWeek2023.

MAC Cosmetics, who have partnered with ARISE Fashion Week for the third non-consecutive year, did not only provide the makeup products but also a trained set of hands, who put in a great effort to think outside the box show a dedicated willingness to cooperate with the designers and understand their requirements.
