TJWHO, launched in 2018, is a diverse design brand conceived to offer a modern refinement of a new African style to the world. By harnessing references from the past and across cultures, we constantly aim to tailor timelessly for the present and the future by re-inventing old silhouettes and developing branding new ones.
Taju Ibrahim (founder), is a graduate of Architectural Technology from Nottingham Trent University (2015). Driven by passion, majority of his design skillset in fashion have been self-taught over the years while undergoing only a few months of professional training in tailoring. TJWHO launched it’s very first collection in May 2019. Being raised in Northern Nigeria and of the Yoruba descent, his cultural background and upbringing play a large role in his aesthetic and obsession with clean lines as well as his years of study and travelled experiences.
TJWHO collection pieces are sold limitedly and produced in Lagos Nigeria by a small team of experienced tailors and artisans.
